| History Our modern and aspiring patent attorney's office is based on historically grown roots, dating back to the beginning of the past century. Milestones of our office: 1902 Heinrich Fieth, patent engineer in Nuremberg, is registered in the list of patent attorneys. 1912 Dr. Ing. Ludwig Brake is registered in the list of patent attorneys. 1939 Dr. Erich Wetzel takes over the long-established patent attorney's offices of Fieth and Brake and continues their tradition. 1967 The patent attorney Dipl.-Ing. Enno Tergau joins the patent attorney's office of Dr. Wetzel as a partner. 1973 After Dr. Erich Wetzel's death, patent attorney Dipl.-Ing. Enno Tergau becomes the proprietor of the office. 1974 Ing. grad. chem. Hans-Ludwig Pohl, a patent attorney who had been working as head of a patent division in the industry, joins the office. The partnership Tergau & Pohl is established, whose name has been maintained up to now. 1992 Patent attorney Hans-Ludwig Pohl retires. The office moves within Nuremberg from Hefnersplatz to Mögeldorfer Hauptstrasse, its present head office. 1993 Patent attorney Dipl.-Ing. Dietrich Tergau joins the partnership. 2000 Patent attorney Dipl.-Phys. Rüdiger Freier joins the partnership. Patent attorney Dipl.-Phys. Dr.rer.nat. Andreas Walkenhorst joins the partnership and opens a new location in Frankfurt am Main. 2004 Patent attorney Dipl.-Phys. Matthias Dörr joins the partnership. 2005 The patent attorneys' office of Dipl.-Ing. Lutz Schieferdecker merges with our office at the location of Frankfurt am Main. 2006 Patent attorney Dipl.-Phys. Dr. rer. nat. Wolfgang Stammler, previously head of a patent division in the industry, joins the partnership. Our team consists of seven patent attorneys, three patent attorney applicants, and two patent engineers. In addition, for all questions concerning trademarks, a lawyer is employed in our trademark division. Professional support is given by 17 specialized employees, most of whom have been trained in our office. |
